Get involved

Every circle needs people to hold it.

Be Empowered Network is volunteer-led and donor-funded. There is a place for your time, your skills, your organisation or your money.

Volunteer

Our volunteers are the network. We train everyone, support everyone, and never ask you to do something you are not ready for.

Roles we need

  • Circle facilitators: hold a peer support circle, with training and supervision from us.
  • Listeners: respond to the people who reach out by email and message.
  • Speakers: deliver school, campus and workplace sessions.
  • Skills volunteers: design, writing, social media, data, fundraising, events, legal, finance.

What we ask

  • A few hours a month, reliably.
  • Willingness to complete our training and safeguarding induction.
  • Care for other people, and for yourself.
Lived experience, professional background, availability: whatever feels relevant.

Give

Everything we run is free for the people who use it. That is only possible because of donors. Your gift pays for facilitator training, venue costs, campaign materials and the small things, like data for an online circle, that keep someone connected.

We are a registered Incorporated Trustee (CAC/IT/NO 140796). Every donation is receipted and accounted for.

Ways to give

  • Bank transfer: contact us for our account details and we'll send a receipt.
  • Monthly giving: a regular gift lets us plan circles a year ahead.
  • In kind: venues, printing, airtime and data, refreshments for circles.
  • Corporate giving: sponsor a programme in a school or community of your choice.
